evil 8 – split 2, week 1

eu, day 1:

series 1 – g2.esports vs team secret

The series started out with a game massively favoring G2. A season or two ago, this would’ve been unthinkable but G2 were picking up kill after kill, no problem. They had a quick 12 minute game with a massive 12 kill lead. The addition of Hundor with Reddix moving over to Roam seemed like the best decision G2 could’ve made. The second game started slightly more in the way of Team Secret. They had were up 3 kills to none in the 9th minute. They got a 2 for one trade in their favor in the 10th minute. They didn’t get anything from it. By the 15th minute, TS were up by 6 kills and turret. With G2 nowhere near, TS went ahead and picked up Kraken. TS got two kills during the push allowing them to get the win with the push. The third game seemed more even than the past two. Around the 9th minute, though, TS started to pull ahead. They got a series of kills and a gold mine in the 10th minute. TS had a 2k gold lead by this point. In the 16th minute, TS got an ace with some huge damage from Reim and Vox. G2 had tried to force a fight which went badly for them. TS got Kraken afterwards. TS got a kill on DarkPotato early on during the push.
