HH Kinetic recognized that their team was much stronger in the early-game, pressuring both lane and jungle. However, NemH did a great job of turtling and securing farm – although FearPoseidon’s jungle Ringo did manage to steal some of Hardek’s (Krul) farm, Hardek still managed to secure his large back doubles every rotation, keeping him up to par gold-wise. At about 7:30, the two teams were roughly even on gold, but NemH secured 3 kills while trading out one death and was able to capture the gold mine as a result, giving NemH huge momentum going forward. NemH fought every fight after that, pushing slowly but steadily, taking the Kraken at 15:30 and pushing to the win.

Result: NemH: 1    HHK: 0

In the early-game, NemH was pressuring lane heavily, and HHK pressured jungle in turn, stealing a significant amount of Hardek’s (Krul) jungle farm. At about 6:00, Hardek only had 15 CS to FearPoseidon’s 35 CS. Nemesis did manage to take a turret, but was still behind in gold by 2k at 8:00 due to the CS differential. However, Hardek doubled down on securing jungle farm in the mid-game, bringing his CS up to par with FearPoseidon’s by 11:30. At 14:20 and again at 16:00, NemH got two kills for one death, bringing their gold up back to even with HHK’s. At 18:00, NemH takes a great fight, securing two kills, setting themselves up for the Kraken capture at 19:00. With the Kraken unleashed, NemH double infused and pushed to the win.

Result: NemH: 2    HHK: 0

Nemesis secured their place in the semifinals tonight with two very convincing wins. With a rematch against HHK, the same team as they faced on day 1, NemH proved once again to be the better team overall. Hardek’s Krul play was especially fun to watch and impressive today.

NEMH

NemH moves on to the semifinals after a rematch series against HH Kinetic.
