The official Vainglory Update 2.12 notes have been released, outlining the new changes that debuted this week. Some highlights:

And much, much more. Be sure to give it a read to gain an edge on the Fold and Rise.

KYUDO Kestrel (RARE)

The latest addition to Kestrel’s skin lineup is Kyūdō Kestrel. Along with the Kimono top is an ornate new bow with themed model changes. In the alternate fate lore, Kestrel is seen as a student in training with a slight rebellious side.

Vainglory 5V5 Launch Party

For those of you who weren’t lucky enough to acquire a Golden Ticket to play 5V5 Early Access, SEMC will be hosting a 5V5 pre-launch party on February 8th at the Folsom Street Foundry in San Francisco. Attendees will get to play on Sovereign’s Rise with pros and casters as well as hear about the outlook on Vainglory’s future. If you can’t attend the event in person, you can still watch it live on Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook, starting at 5PM PST on the 8th. If you can attend, however, claim your free tickets as soon as possible!

Deep Dive: Blueprints, Skins, Skin Crafting

SEMC’s firetiger777 took to Reddit to offer an in-depth explanation of the new skin crafting methods. He highlighted Essence conversions, new ICE costs, and how to obtain blueprints, as well as detailed a new blueprint chest and the upcoming streamlines to seasonal skins. It’s definitely worth reading, especially if you’ve had your doubts about the recent changes.

Community Content

This week in community content, we have a Broken Myth item artwork (that’s us!) and a Churnwalker fan art. To have your own work featured next week on Broken Myth, submit your content or suggestions to us via email!
