FearPoseidon’s Ringo was very impressive, stutter-stepping perfectly and never giving up an opportunity to get free damage onto the enemy. Because of how squishy Koshka built, jungle skirmishes went badly for VGB, and HHK applied steady pressure, opening up a 600 gold advantage at 4:00 to over 9k by the 15:00 mark. In the end, HHK’s, and in particular FearPoseidon’s, impressive mechanics closed out the game in a decisive and extremely dominant manner.
Result: VGB: 0 HHK: 1

Vertigo Black came out strong in the early-game, using Petal’s early-game power to pressure both lane and jungle. However, once HHK had a silence available on their Catherine, they began to win fights handily by landing huge Blast Tremors and following up by deleting RiiKzZ’s WP Vox. At 8:40, HHK won a huge fight, getting two kills for no deaths and bringing VGB’s 3k gold lead down to 2k. As the game went on, every fight went in HHK’s favor with crucial unblocked silences and stuns completely shutting down RiiKzZ. At 21:20, HHK got two kills, took Kraken and a turret, double infused, then pushed to win.
Result: VGB: 0 HHK: 2
HHK showed their impressive mechanics and macro play today. FearPoseidon seemed to have learned from his performance from Day 1; he positioned more or less perfectly in every fight. In their series in Day 1, HHK seemed to perform badly when they couldn’t secure a buff comp, but showed today that they aren’t just a one-trick pony.
HHK player FearPoseidon (farthest) showed off amazing mechanical skills in his Day 2 matches against VGB.
