Vainglory 5V5 Early Public Access

Vainglory has officially announced an early access period for its 5V5 game mode set to debut this coming December at the Worlds tournament in Singapore. By pre-registering your email address, you have a chance to partake in Vainglory’s 5V5 public access testing! Although the early access period is still a ways away, we encourage everyone to sign up in order to influence Vainglory’s most anticipated update ever — and unlock an exclusive “Founding 5V5” in-game badge.

New Skin: Ra’dagio (RARE)

Adagio is getting a new set of wings with his new Rare “Ra’dagio” skin. This skin joins the growing list of Egyptian-themed skins, this one being based on the Egyptian god of the sun, Ra. It includes numerous changes making it a must-have in Update 2.10:

• Scarab & snake decorations
• Talons on hands and feet
• Pharaoh’s headdress & golden armor on arms, legs, head & wings
• Wesekh collar

Vainglory Halloween Cosplay Contest

In true Halloween spirit, SEMC has announced a cosplay contest. Participants can post a picture of their cosplay on any of Vainglory’s social channels between the 24th and 31st of October for a chance to win big. The first five winners will receive every skin from Update 2.10, while the five runners-up win 1000 ICE each and the ten after receive 500 ICE each. The rules for participation are as follows:

Renegades Acquire Infamous Gaming

Renowned esports organization “Detroit Renegades” take their first step into Vainglory with their acquisition of Infamous. The roster is led by Justin “spaghetti” Bersamin and includes Ching “Chingy” Yang, Terence “Tezzaboy98” Leung Cheuk Yin, Adem “SnkEA“ Lebeidi, Thanakit “uNi” Vongmanee, along with Coach and Analyst Bryan “Aeon222” Tay. Bersamin said in an interview:

When we first started our team, it was our goal to come this far in the competitive scene as to be recognized by an organization like Renegades. We have been training ever since the formation of our new team roster and we are ready to show what we are worth.

They will debut under the new banner in a 5V5 show match at Singapore during the upcoming Vainglory Worlds Tournament.

Guinness World Record: Youngest Winner of Major Vainglory Tournament

Probably anyone who follows the competitive scene of Vainglory has heard of Zio. He’s always been touted as the youngest professional Vainglory player who wins major tournaments (especially that under pressure). Well, the Guinness Book of World Records went ahead and made it official by giving him the prize for it! Riley “Zio” Haghian plays the lane/carry position for TribeGamingGG and received the record for his performance at the 2016 North American Spring Season Championship. Congratulations to him!
