I’m tired of eating instant ramen without the ramen. – MrTouchnGo, poor college student

Hey all! Due to popular request from our readers, we’d like to announce that Broken Myth is officially setup to take donations. The Broken Myth team is composed of individuals who are all passionate about Vainglory, enough so that we’ve been doing this for over a year on a volunteer basis – that is, for free.

My wife wants me to stop spending our grocery money on ICE. – Keldegar, from the land of annoying people

As it turns out, even though we love it, writing stuff for free doesn’t really pay the bills. We want to start earning money so we can invest more time into crafting awesome articles and building great player resources (such as the draft simulator and the top hero builds page), but at the same time, we want everything to still be available to all players for free.

The easiest solution is the one we present to you today: one-time donations through Paypal. We’re also looking into other ways for fans to support us, so if you have suggestions, feel free to leave a comment!

$63 will get us 21 Beanie Babies, which will only go up in value. – Gadianton, math prodigy

We’ll also be donating half of all proceeds to Child’s Play, a charity that connects children in hospitals and shelters with the joy of video games, something we can definitely get behind. So please hit that donate button to support a good cause and a great website!

Maybe I can write a bot to do the dev stream recaps for me. – Jackaloupe, workaholic student

You should create a Patreon page so donators can get some benefits for being a monthly donator. Would definitely be a cool idea. Prizes being t-shirts, featured in a post, etc.

That’s actually one of the things we are looking into. If you have any other suggestions for rewards, we’d love to hear them!
