Lyra is one of the best roam heroes due to her utility-based abilities; specifically, her healing. Lyra should focus on staying as far away from the enemy as possible, but still in range to heal and do damage. This build is meant for Lyra’s roam path.
Having your Imperial Sigil first is critical due to the healing and speed bursts it provides. While Lyra’s other skills have relatively low gains, Imperial Sigil improves modestly throughout its ranks, so be sure to always overdrive Imperial Sigil first. Instead of upgrading Arcane Passage to level 3, overdrive Bright Bulwark second in order to gain a boost of reduced cooldown and increased slow duration.
Lyra is unique in that she can succeed without building a Fountain of Renewal first since her healing scales with bonus health. Furthermore, purchase Crucible and then Fountain of Renewal to achieve the most health faster. Contraption gives decent health, top-tier cooldown speed, and vision for your team, ultimately allowing you to keep your team in tip-top shape with frequent heals.
War Treads provide a ton of bonus health, and the repositioning power combined with Lyra’s Arcane Portal can leave your opponents dazed and confused. Stormcrown provides decent health, great cooldown speed, and a noticeable amount of damage. Picking it up too early isn’t ideal due the damage scaling off of your level. Alternating Current deals massive damage while executing her perk faster. Consider purchasing Broken Myth if you’re still in need of more damage.
