Tony drops as the first Vainglory hero to receive a fresh look at Sovereign’s Rise. His macho theme and stacked crowd control coincide with the option between playing as a carry, jungler, or captain. Broken Myth is here with an early look at Tony’s abilities, talents and best builds to help you taunt foes away from crushing armories.
When playing as a 5V5 laner, Tony fits best in the bottom lane to swiftly rotate up toward the weapon buff. Tony’s abilities present as easy to adapt to, but require timing and precision to master. All of his abilities invoke a movement modifier for him or his enemies, opening up an opportunity for chained attacks. His captain role benefits the most from this practice, which we’ll cover in a “Tony as a Captain” article soon. For now, let’s take a look at Tony’s hero abilities.
Vainglory Tony Abilities
Come At Me (Heroic Perk)

Mar 12, 2018 4:28 pmI know this isn’t related to this article but, what is the best weapon build for Varya? I personally like having spellsword and halcyon chargers for the low cool down on her B ability and for mana sustain. Plus i like having Tension Bow, Breaking Point, and Tyrants Monocle for some good damage. And of course I always overdrive Varya’s ultimate for the increase of her attack speed. If your able to reply back please do.I you want to ,you can reply back on the Varya article.

Mar 14, 2018 9:45 amWeapon Varya took a major hit in Update 2.12 with her other nerfs. I don’t think it’s a viable build path at the moment — comparable to the decaying state of Weapon Petal. However, if you’re really looking to run that path: Sorrowblade, Poisoned Shiv, Breaking Point. Sorrowblade provides her base damage for the match. Poisoned Shiv coincides well with her perk to consistently heal and proc mortal wounds. Similarly, Breaking Point will stack up quickly when chaining attacks.
Varya’s whole kit is dependent on multi-targeted damage, so Tension Bow does not quite fit this picture. Often times she’ll have to use her primary attack on a secondary target (minion, enemy captain, etc.) in order for her damage to reach the backline where most carries sit without being prone to burst. Tyrant’s Monocle adds critical damage, but isn’t as useful as attack speed or lifesteal.

Mar 12, 2018 4:17 pmWill there be a 3.1 tier list?
Sean
Mar 14, 2018 9:37 amWe’re currently not sure. Updating the Hero Builds page entirely is our goal for 3.1, so it’s likely that we won’t be able to release a Tier List until 3.2. We want to revive these two projects with a spark sure to be consistent. Several of the best analysts in Vainglory have recently joined us to make this possible.

Mar 10, 2018 11:37 pmProps to SEMC who wants to increase their roster. But i guess they better make one who more unique instead this Ardan-like bruiser. Such example like when they put out Churn and Lorelai. Also we need more choice on carries (we basically get 3 capts and 1 assassin on 4 last addition).

Mar 10, 2018 4:28 pm“All enemies hit receive 30 (+70% crystal power) and are forced to attack Tony for 0.8 seconds.” 30 what? afaik there’s no damage right? so what do they receive?

Mar 10, 2018 4:40 pmHi, thanks for pointing this out. We copied the descriptions right from in-game, so this was a mistake on SEMC’s end unfortunately. The descriptions have been updated for clarification with new information.
